The Virginia Sesquicentennial of the American Civil War Commission proudly awarded its first annual Award of Excellence to John Hennessy during the 2010 Signature Conference in recognition for his service as the lead planner for the Civil War 150 HistoryMobile. John Hennessy is the Chief Historian and Chief of Interpretation at the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania National Military Park, and serves as co-chairman of the Fredericksburg-Stafford-Spotsylvania regional sesquicentennial committee. The Civil War 150 HistoryMobile is an interactive and immersive exhibit housed in a 53' tractor trailer that will travel the state and beyond, launching in July 2011.
